BLUEZ PROJECT - A five piece band based in South Staffordshire and

THE STRATS - This live gigging two piece originals blues band, based in
Monaghan, Ireland, are definitely prepared to travel. If you are looking for
a lively evening and a good solid blues beat, these are your fellas. So
what are these Warriors Of The Night all about? In short, the sort of
exuberant rockin' blues that should be in every car glove-box as a must-
have. Think Mark Knopfler, mix in some Hank Marvin, Chas'n' Dave and a
blend of influences spanning everything from '50s to '70s. You have
superb vocals and some masterful lead on that famous Fender guitar.
WoT EvvA Midlands based Blues band with a wide variety of traditional
and more modern songs. This 5 piece band, fronted by Heather, will play
a superb Saturday night set or give you a more subtle, wide ranging
repertoire to suit any event.
COLD SHOT- Veterans of Lichfield's Paradise Lounge, this Midlands
Blues four piece Blues/Rock covers band has plenty of local gig
experience. Featuring finely crafted guitar work, the band's specialises in
the lighter blues and rock numbers and has an excellent repertoire to
small clubs and pubs.
CRAWDADDY - Live Music from a 4 piece band. Specialists in the 60s
classics such as the Beatles and Rolling Stones. We also play songs

ROUTE 666 - A hard driving blues/rock three-piece from Liverpool with
distinct echoes of early Zeppelin in their style. These guys are tight,
energetic and lively in their music with a variety of solid rhythms
underpinning excellent guitar work. With their good range of both original
and cover material, Route 666 will comfortably headline at a regional
venue but would be equally at home playing good local venues, pubs
and clubs.
THE BLIND LEMONS - The Blind Lemons are a four-piece hard-hitting
Rhythm & Blues band, very much in the style of Dr. Feelgood & Nine
Below Zero. Their repertoire includes songs by John Lee Hooker, Rory
Gallagher, Howlin’ Wolf, Little Walter, Muddy Waters and Stevie Ray
Vaughan, all played in their inimitable style.
THE BIG BLUES TRIBE is a triumph of musicianship & enthusiasm over

BLINDRIDE - This young Manchester rock band will soon be taking the
West Midlands by storm. Bright, energetic, melodic and thought-
provoking, Blindride’s songs are filled with delicately crafted melodies
and thought-provoking lyrics, whilst delivering raw energy and emotion
that will truly capture the imagination! Blindride is a must for clubs and
festival venues: a band to watch out for in the future.
THE SHOODBY BAND A great local amateur folk band from the Lichfield
area, the Shoodby Band play folk dances, ceilidh and vocal sessions
within the Lichfield and Tamworth area. The band's repertoire includes
traditional numbers from down the years and a variety of modern songs
and dances. John is a highly experienced caller who is well used to
dancers of all ages and abilities. The band has it's own PA system and
can play small pub venues and others up to regional theatre size. All
profits are paid to charity and a suitable donation for the Band's services
is welcome.
A SAX FULL O' SOUL has been designed and developed to provide a
unique form of live entertainment at an affordable price. Using
masterfully developed backing tracks, Charlie Maiden delivers the
exciting and unique sound of live sax played in a soulful and dynamic
style with the economy of a one-man show! Charlie has an extensive and
varied repertoire which can be tailored to suit the audience and venue. A
Sax full o' Soul would suit a small live music pub, a private party,
corporate event or a restaurant . Charlie delivers a superb show with
friendly, professional presentation.
BLUES MIX - This London Blues ensemble have been successfully
treading the musical boards for a while now. From their residency in The
Smoke, Blues Mix want to spread the word to the Midlands and further
afield. Whether your audience is a pub, club or small stadium, these
guys should deliver the goods.
BETHAN MARSHALL - a Birmingham based singer song-writer, plays
original “folky alternative”, bright with stacks of variety, easy listening to
dynamic and powerful.
STEVE BROWN - A Lichfield based artist who sings swing, numbers
from Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Connick, Buble and many other classic
ballads from artists such as Billy Joel, Will Young, Robbie Williams,
Paul Carrack. Steve is now taking bookings for 2007 and is looking to
perform at weddings, birthday parties and up-market bars or restaurants.
Fees vary on location and event but are always reasonable. Steve has
also performed at charity events and will consider waiving his fee for the
right charity and event. Why not send him an email outlining what you

They asked me to get the lowdown on this MAZ MITRENKO guy. I had
nothing much else doing so I took the case. They gave me little enough
to go on. He operates out of Birmingham, England and they said he
could handle himself on guitar. It seems MITRENKO plays a mean blues
and could rock out with the best. But what was an English guy with a
Polish name doing playing the blues? It just didn't add up. I reckoned I
was going to be wearing out some shoe leather on this one. I was right..
So if you want to check out the case file then push the door and come on
in". You try him too.
CLARET A pub trio with an exciting take on the Roots Music. An evening
with Claret will include a traditional approach to classic British folk music
blended with their own rich, deeply melodic interpretations and original
material. Claret will entertain for a wide variety of venues and events.
Though specialising in St Patrick's Day and St George's Day events at
pubs, Claret will also play for wedding receptions, corporate events,
cocktail parties, barn dances and ceilidh (with a caller provided). For
lower-key events, Claret provides a duo with a subtle blend of acoustic
guitar, flute and/or vocals and will travel within 50 miles of Birmingham.
58 DELUXE - From their Residency in Lichfield, this covers band will
travel within the Midlands and maybe beyond. You will find them playing
superb traditional Blues at local Friday and Saturday night music venues
or on Sundays in city pubs. These guys are experienced and inspiring
and invariably popular with the audience. Veterans of Lichfield's Fuse
Festival, they should give a great evening's entertainment.
TOM DOUGHTY - SLIDE GUITARIST - "Tom is one of the most original
new artists I have heard in a long time. With his unique approach to
guitar and his vocal interpretations of traditional and his own tunes, he
has managed to create a music that is all his own." - Woody Mann.
HOT TRAMP - The young musicians in this emerging rock trio have the
taste of veterans, interpreting Zeppelin and CSNY numbers masterfully.
And....they compliment many of the old favourites with material of their
own. These guys love their music and deliver the emotion head-on. Hot
Tramp has van and will travel..... anywhere vaguely in the Midlands. They
play small pub venues and do support band work.
TEXAS MEDICINE- An authentic style powerful blues three piece based
in the Tamworth area playing a mixture of covers and originals. These
guys play traditional blues well, covering artists like Robert Johnson, ZZ
Top and Freddie King and playing some of their own stuff too; a full
sound with great vocals. This band will travel, would welcome the
chance to play any venue and charge a fair rate for good blues.

based in Tamworth, Staffordshire. Fronted by washboard playing Dick
and full of energy, the Jammers always pitch for a storming evening's
entertainment and cover a myriad of popular numbers.
THE DRIVING WHEELS - A Chicago Blues playing four-piece band from
Stafford. Inspired vocals and guitar from Andrew supported by smooth,
well crafted bass and drums - a superbly laid-back combination of talent
and atmosphere that should suit a smaller pub or Blues Club venue.
Distance should be no object for the band.
THE BARREL HOUSE BLUES BAND - A long established three piece
Rhythm and Blues group, whose diverse backgrounds and influences
have gelled to produce a polished and professional performance. The
band's music has been well received in pubs, clubs, and at private
functions around the Midlands. Come along and listen; bring your black
cat bone and your Mojo too.
LITTLE BOY BLUE - It's not often you find a group of young people playing
such superb Blues. This three piece band from Tamworth have been
gigging in the area for four years and have recently brought their talents
to the Lichfield scene. Little Boy Blue will give any pub or club a brilliant
evening's entertainment with skill and panache.
RICH PARSONS - An evening of entertainment with soloist Rich Parsons
is one to last long in the memory. He has a wide repertoire from all
genres and eras from the 50s and 60s to recent chart hits. Occasionally,
Rich may bring along not only his guitars, but a keyboard, a mandolin
and light percussion so guests can sing, strum or tap along! From clubs
and pubs to open-backed lorries, Rich will meet all requirements,
conditions and climates and will play weddings, functions, launches,
fairs, festivals, and promotions. Fee range Low to Medium.
CHAOS ( classic 50’s to 80’s pop and rock ) With over 20 years
experience in previous bands, CHAOS are four guys playing music that
everyone recognises. Big harmonies, big songs! From classic pop and

ALTAIR EGO - An indie/rock/britpop 4 piece band from Leicester playing
original material and covers ranging from The Beatles to Kaiser Chiefs.
Since Dec 2006, the band have gigged around pubs inthe Leicester

area and currently looking for more opportunities and venues that enjoy
relaxed acoustic blues based type music. The set list will comprise of
covers from bands such as The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Eric Clapton, JJ
Cale, Albert Collins, Keb Mo, Robben Ford, Taj Mahall and John Mayer, to
